What type of software were you looking for at the time and why did you need it?

Before joining Paloma, our data inputting and case management systems were paper based. This meant valuable time was spent maintaining extensive paper case files and completing monitoring requirements. We needed a unified quality based software which would ensure information and data could be held in one place without the need for duplication as well as improving the quality of the services provided and ensuring staff accountability.

How did you find Paloma and why did you decide to work with them?

Some years ago colleagues heard about MODUS whilst attending a Safe Lives national conference, the reviews were very positive therefore it seemed a reputable business to consider for implementing this improvement change.

How did you find the process of buying and incorporating the software into practice?

As part of the package of MODUS all staff received training on how to use modus in addition to the software administrator training for managers to be able to extract data for monitoring and evaluation purposes. In addition to this we have access to phone advice during office hours which is great as we are able to call for advice/assistance for any queries or issues.

How did you manage the implementation?  Did Paloma provide training?

Implementation was staggered as it was important to build staff confidence in using the system. We held regular meetings to go through queries and questions. It has now been over 2 years since full implementation and all staff are confident users of the software.

Do you access ongoing technical support?  Are you happy with it?

Yes we regularly access technical assistance and this works very well for us.

How long have you been a customer of Paloma?

It’s been just over 2.5 years since we have been with Paloma.
