Elpis incorporates a number of features to guide the process of finding a person including providing a time line of all reported sightings, a full address and contacts history that is used to provide a relationships chart, the ability to be guided by predictive analysis in adding the search, in-depth recording of not only demographics but also full history in areas such as vulnerabilities.
In addition to the above Elpis also provides a heat map to provide areas of concern, the recording of a Herbert protocol to provide background on a missing person with dementia, the ability to ‘chat’ to all other users, to be notified of any items of concern recorded by a member of the search team and to be able to report on any number of statistics. These are but a brief overview of the some of the features available from within.
The Elpis Analysis Module enables the user to gather a range of information regarding to a Missing Persons whereabouts whilst they are missing.
This information is compiled based on user demographics and calculates the percentage that the user travelled over a distance before
they were located. This enables the identification of certain trends whenever a Service User has gone missing, such as:
The type of transport taken.
Who were they with whilst missing?
Where were they whilst missing.
And where were they located.
Elpis's Built in mapping systems allows police users to quickly plot and visualise address data based on a Missing Persons last seen location, where they went missing and where they were found.
Our Heatmapping system uses the same mapping system, but enables Police users the ability to identify areas of activity or concern based on the input of multiple addresses and postcodes from each Missing Person Episode on the system.
The Relationship Chart Module Visually represents data pertaining to a Service Users Relationship, visually creating links to other Missing Persons, family members, friends and more.
The chart can also be split up based on levels of relationships to create a coherent and impressive visual representation of relationships, making it easier for data to be understood.
Elpis' exploitation tool allows for the recording of key indicator information with sections that include Health, Grooming and E-Safety.
This information allows for the compiling and calculation of the number of current, historic and suspected concerns identified for a service user.

Information submitted via the Elpis Herbert Portal is then added to an Elpis case ready to be reviewed by an Elpis User.
Elpis Herbert has been designed and developed alongisde Police Forces to ensure that information and data entered into the Elpis Herbert Portal is kept safe and secure.
Only the information submitted via the Elpis Herbert Portal can be viewed by the submitter of the data, even after the form has been linked to an Elpis Service User.
